Overview (Hospitality-Focused)
Communication in hospitality studies examines how words, images, gestures, and symbols influence human interaction and guest experiences. At Bradford Institute, we explore how communication shapes culture, service, and leadership within the hospitality industry, while also considering its broader role in business, law, politics, and everyday life.
In class, you might analyze a hotel’s promotional campaign, a guest review, or even a social media post from a leading hospitality brand or influencer. Together with your classmates, you’ll critique the medium, message, tone, and cultural impact—then craft your own communication piece designed to engage audiences effectively and authentically
Career Opportunities
To strengthen their career opportunities, our students gain hands-on experience through internships across a wide spectrum of hospitality roles, including Food & Beverage service, Bartending, Barista operations, Housekeeping, Front Office, Butler service, Culinary arts, Human Resources, and Administrative support. Many also expand their career paths into related industries, with placements in travel agencies, tour operations, and ground services at airports.
